Why are giveaways not large family friendly?

We have what society tends to call a "large family." We have 2 adults and 4 kids. I have seen families with way more kids then we have. I consider us more of maybe a medium sized family. Throughout the years I know many of us have entered into giveaways for free products and maybe even free vacations. One thing I have noticed about these giveaways is that they are not large family, or even medium family friendly. A majority of giveaways calls for 2 adults and 2 children. Is this what society still thinks the average family is? Do they still see the average family as a mom, dad, daughter, and son? Even if you have 3 kids you have to either be able to afford to pay for the third child to take that vacation with you, leave one behind, or not be able to take the vacation at all. I think in the past 10 years of seeing giveaways I have seen 1 maybe 2 that was larger family friendly. I remember seeing one that was for 8 people!! In vacation giveaway standards that is huge!! I am in no way saying all giveaways should be for 10 people, but could we not have a few atleast that are designed with larger families in mind?
