Red Nose Day

Red Nose Day is funded by the British charity Comic Relief. The first ever Red Nose Day occurred on February 8th, 1988. The first event raised 15 million British pounds. The goal of the fund-raising event is to change the lives of poor and disadvantaged people. Red Nose Day has made its way even to the USA  and since the debut in 2015, we have raised $200 million and have positively impacted over 25 million children in America, and around the world. A Red Nose encourages people to come together, share a laugh, and gives the world something to smile about. It’s a powerful way to start a conversation about Red Nose Day and its goal: to end child poverty one nose at a time.

What is wrong in today's society

Every night I sit here with my windows open trying to catch a breeze. Last night as I was sitting there with my windows open and listening to the conversations going on very loudly outside got me thinking. I always hear these guys out here just walking around talking about wanting to have sex with this girl and that girl and saying they can have sex with any girl they want. That is what is wrong with today's world. Everyone has made it about sex and material things. No one wants to actually be there for each other.
Over my time the past year of being separated, I have even come to realize so many guys just want to have sex, but not many want to have an actual relationship. Everyone just thinks about themselves and their needs. Girls aren't just looking for sex. Sure its nice but we want and need more, and I am not talking about material things. We want your love and attention. We want someone we can talk to, a friend, someone we can hang out with and have fun with, someone we can cry to or lean on when we need help, but we will return the favor when its needed because yes guys need and deserve that too. So many guys will try to catch your attention by buying you things, I don't know about everyone else, but I am rather independent for a woman. I can and will do things on my own. I do not need a guy to buy me things or take care of me that way. It is nice, but I would rather have your time and attention. i would rather have experiences and make memories. Sometimes I just want to cuddle up and be held or even do the holding sometimes. There is more to intimacy besides just sex. There is cuddling, kissing, caressing, hand holding, so much more.
Does anyone else want more than just sex, I mean it's great and ...
So many people have become so non-chalaunt about sex that it isn't what it should be. It's supposed to be intimate. You can have fun with it, but the way society is now they have made it so casual. It almost has no meaning anymore and that is terrible. It is supposed to be an act between people who care about each other. It is pleasurable, but its not a game.

National Laughter Day

If you look at a weird calandar you will find a "day" for every day of every month. Today happens to be National Laughter Day. Here are a few jokes to make you laugh:

1. An old grandma brings a bus driver a bag of peanuts every day.

First the bus driver enjoyed the peanuts but after a week of eating them he asked: "Please granny, don't bring me peanuts anymore. Have them yourself.".

The granny answers: "You know, I don't have teeth anymore. I just prefer to suck the chocolate around them."

2. One company owner asks another: “Tell me, Bill, how come your employees are always on time in the mornings?”

Bill replies: “Easy. 30 employees and 20 parking spaces.”

3. Teacher: "If I gave you 2 cats and another 2 cats and another 2, how many would you have?"
Johnny: "Seven."
Teacher: "No, listen carefully... If I gave you two cats, and another two cats and another two, how many would you have?"
Johnny: "Seven."
Teacher: "Let me put it to you differently. If I gave you two apples, and another two apples and another two, how many would you have?"
Johnny: "Six."
Teacher: "Good. Now if I gave you two cats, and another two cats and another two, how many would you have?"
Johnny: "Seven!"
Teacher: "Johnny, where in the heck do you get seven from?!"
Johnny: "Because I've already got a freaking cat!"

4. A blonde and a redhead have a ranch. They have just lost their bull. The women need to buy another, but only have $500. The redhead tells the blonde, "I will go to the market and see if I can find one for under that amount. If I can, I will send you a telegram." She goes to the market and finds one for $499. Having only one dollar left, she goes to the telegraph office and finds out that it costs one dollar per word. She is stumped on how to tell the blonde to bring the truck and trailer. Finally, she tells the telegraph operator to send the word "comfortable." Skeptical, the operator asks, "How will she know to come with the trailer from just that word?" The redhead replies, "She's a blonde so she reads slow: 'Come for ta bull.'"

5. There was an elderly couple who in their old age noticed that they were getting a lot more forgetful, so they decided to go to the doctor. The doctor told them that they should start writing things down so they don't forget. They went home and the old lady told her husband to get her a bowl of ice cream. "You might want to write it down," she said. The husband said, "No, I can remember that you want a bowl of ice cream." She then told her husband she wanted a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream. "Write it down," she told him, and again he said, "No, no, I can remember: you want a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream." Then the old lady said she wants a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top. "Write it down," she told her husband and again he said, "No, I got it. You want a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream and a cherry on top." So he goes to get the ice cream and spends an unusually long time in the kitchen, over 30 minutes. He comes out to his wife and hands her a plate of eggs and bacon. The old wife stares at the plate for a moment, then looks at her husband and asks, "Where's the toast?"

Loyalty Day- dating back to the 1920s it is an opportunity to express and reaffirm our loyalty to our country.

May Day- It has a number of meanings. In many other countries it is a celebration of spring and the coming of summer. It is celebrated with many spring flowers, many of them blooming right in your own backyard. To communist and socialist countries, it is a celebration for the workers. In many countries it is celebrated as part of a one to three day holiday. Of particular note, it is not a national holiday in the United States, except in Hawaii where it is known as "Lei Day".

Better still, go on a safari to see one! You can also donate to groups working towards preserving the Rhinoceros.

Space Day- gives you the opportunity participate in the excitement and fascination of space. It's a topic of interest to millions, old and young alike. It's a topic as broad as the universe. Former astronaut and Senator John Glenn expanded Space Day to International Space Day in 2001. Originally started to get America's youth interested in math and science, Space Day focuses upon creating an interest and awareness of all kinds of topics and issues related to space. Visit a science center, or observatory.
